A Doctor Selfless Battle to Save a Child’s Life: The Story of Dr. Shoaib
When a child’s life is on the line, every second counts. This is the story of doctor Shoaib, a selfless pediatrician who went above and beyond to save a child’s life.
The child’s father received a call from the school one day, saying that his child was not breathing. Distraught, he rushed to the school and picked up his four-year-old, bringing him to the hospital.

The head of the pediatric department was informed of the situation and immediately took charge. He mobilized his team and worked tirelessly to restore the child’s breathing.
Despite initial efforts, the child’s breathing stopped again and he turned blue. Doctor. Shoaib quickly assessed the situation and discovered that a foreign object was blocking the child’s respiratory tract.
Knowing that the necessary equipment for removing the object was not available in their city, Dr. Shoaib contacted a children’s hospital in Lahore where the procedure could be performed.
But getting the child to Lahore on artificial respiration presented a new challenge. Dr. Shoaib arranged for a rescue ambulance and even decided to accompany the child himself so that he could maintain the child’s breathing manually during the journey.
This selfless act cost Dr. Shoaib not only time and energy but also financial loss as he closed his private clinic to attend to the child. But the reward was worth it as the child was successfully treated and recovered.
There are countless stories of doctors who go above and beyond to save lives, often at a great personal sacrifice. These selfless acts of dedication are often unacknowledged, but they are a testament to the tireless efforts of medical professionals to save the lives of those in need.
